Are Porcelain Veneers Instant Orthodontics?

Porcelain veneers have been available in dentistry for over 25 years. Lately, the “brand names” Lumineers and Empress veneers have become popular either through advertising or public awareness. However, the concept and the process is not new.

Porcelain Veneers are thin, carefully fabricated pieces of porcelain shaped to fit over the front of the tooth. They are sometimes called porcelain laminates or porcelain laminate veneers.
